HOMESITE INFORMATION
Most of you are probably aware of the shortage of available buildable lots in Central Maryland. This is not something new, however it is more evident today than it was 10 years ago when the country as a whole started implementing Smart Growth initiatives. In Central Maryland, because of its proximity to the Baltimore/Washington area, we’ve seen a huge increase in housing demand over the last few years. That demand, along with the concurrency management efforts at the local levels, has increased land values in this region exponentially. However, it’s also slowed growth because of the inadequacy of our region’s infrastructure. We feel fortunate that we always have an inventory of lots to work with, and the ability to locate others through our broker/developer network; so finding an adequate lot for your new home project should be very possible.
We currently have lots available for new homes in the Manchester, Hampstead and Westminter areas of Carroll County.
